By accessing or using Woolet ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Woolet is a personal finance management application that allows users to:

  • Track bank accounts and transactions
  • Monitor debts and payments
  • Manage subscriptions
  • Track investments and stock prices
  • View financial analytics and insights
  • Use AI-powered financial assistance (subject to plan limits)

Woolet is a tracking and visualization tool. We do not connect directly to your bank accounts or financial institutions. All financial data is manually entered by you.

3. User Accounts

To use Woolet, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Woolet offers multiple subscription tiers:

  • Free: Basic features with limited accounts and AI questions
  • Pro: Enhanced features with more accounts and daily AI questions
  • Premium: Full access to all features with priority support

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice to subscribers.

5. User Content and Data

You retain ownership of all financial data and content you enter into Woolet. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store and process your data to provide the Service
  • Display your data back to you within the application
  • Use anonymized, aggregated data for service improvement

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the financial data you enter. Woolet does not verify or validate your financial information.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Transmit viruses or malicious code
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Share your account credentials with others

7. AI Features Disclaimer

Woolet may offer AI-powered financial insights and assistance. These features are provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial advice. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. Always consult with a qualified financial professional before making financial decisions.

8. Third-Party Services

Woolet uses third-party services for authentication (Clerk), hosting, and data processing. These services have their own terms and privacy policies. We use third-party APIs to fetch currency exchange rates and stock prices. We do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of this data.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. WOO-LET IS NOT A FINANCIAL ADVISOR AND DOES NOT PROVIDE FINANCIAL, TAX, OR LEGAL ADVICE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WOO-LET SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time through the application settings.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
